Karangasem Royal Palace

Amlapura, capital of Karangasem Regency, is 78 km east of Denpasar. Since the Karangasem Kingdom was established, Amlapura has been the civic center. Meanwhile, the famous tourist destination in Amlapura is the Royal Palace denoting a perfect fusion of Balinese, Chinese and European architecture. The palace was founded by Anak Agung Gede Jelantik, the first king of Karangasem. Inside the palace, we will find a collection of photos belonging to royal families and fashionable costumes worn at that time.
